<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a useless current from flowing trough a gate driving circuit to reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A gate driving circuit comprises a control power supply 12, a transformer 8 having a primary coil and a secondary coil, a first switching element 21, a second switching element 14, a rectifying element 15, and a capacitive element 20. The first switching element 21 is connected between the control power supply 12 and one end of the primary coil, and the second switching element 14 is connected to the other end of the primary coil. Both ends of the rectifying element 15 are connected in parallel to the both ends of the primary coil. One end of the capacitive element 20 is connected to one end or the other end of the primary coil. The capacitive element 20 is charged by the control power supply 12 at the time of conduction of one of the first switching element 21 and the second switching element 14, and the capacitive element 20 is discharged at the time of conduction of the other of the first switching element 21 and the second switching element 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
