This image processing device is provided with: a data input unit (101) that receives input for an input image (121), depth data (122) and shooting parameters (123); a parameter input unit (102) that receives input for transformation parameters (124) concerning the projective transformation of a 3D model; a transformed image generation unit (103) that generates a transformed image (131) by performing projective transformation on the basis of the transformation parameters (124) in the 3D model that is obtained from the input image (121), depth data (122) and shooting parameters (123); a blank area detection unit (104) that detects a blank area, which is a set of blank pixels in which corresponding pixels in the input image (121) do not exist, in the transformed image (131); and an output unit (105) that outputs the transformed image (131) when a blank value representing the size of the blank area is less than or equal to a threshold value.
