The reinforcing agent is located only in the cover enamel. The sanitary device includes ceramic balls with an average diameter of 0.8-1.2 mu m as a reinforcing agent. The ceramic balls include feldspar and/or silicon dioxide. The sanitary device includes corundum particles (4) with an average diameter of 15-30 mu m as a reinforcing agent. The base enamel includes at least one salt including quartz, feldspar, borax, titanium dioxide, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, fluorite, calcite, nickel oxide, cobalt oxide, manganese oxide or metal phosphate. The cover enamel includes at least one salt including quartz, feldspar, borax, titanium dioxide, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, lithium carbonate, fluorite, calcite or metal phosphate. The weight percent of reinforcing agent contained in the cover enamel is adjusted, such that the coated sanitary tub with the enamel layer withstands an impact test with a potential of at least 50 N, preferably 70 N without damage.</p>
