<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted pair wire capable of reducing increase in the amount of attenuation caused by humidity, in the twisted pair wire using a stranded conductor. <P>SOLUTION: A twisted pair wire 11 is configured by pairing and stranding coating element wires 15 formed by coating a stranded conductor 13 with a coating body 14. The coating body 14 is formed from a coating body material blended with a silane coupling agent. Preferably, the stranded conductor 13 is coated with two layers of coating bodies 14 and in the two layers of coating bodies, an inner layer coating body 14 in contact with the stranded conductor 13 is formed from a coating body material blended with the silane coupling agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
