<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously create a job before the mounting of a unit or the connection of an external apparatus, wherein the job is inexecutable by the present apparatus configuration of an image forming apparatus because of the assumption of the use of the unmounted unit and/or the unconnected external apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes a connection recognition section for recognizing that a unit is mounted and/or an external apparatus is connected, and a control section for managing the unit and/or the external apparatus and managing a job, wherein the control section receives the recognition results of the connection recognition section, and determines whether the unit is mounted or not and/or the external apparatus is connected or not. When creating a job, it is possible to create a presently inexecutable job that is inexecutable by the present apparatus configuration on the assumption that the unmounted unit and/or the unconnected external apparatus being managed are/is used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
