<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing apparatus which can perform sewing without displacement. <P>SOLUTION: The sewing apparatus includes: a work table 30 for placing two fabrics C1 and C2 lapped over each other; a lock sewing machine 40 for sewing the tow fabrics; a carrying mechanism 50 for carrying the lock sewing machine along an edge brim part of the work table; and a front clamp mechanism 60 having a plurality of clamp members 611 arranged side by side along the edge brim part 32 of the work table, for holding the two fabrics from above. In the lock sewing machine, a cloth presser 43 is arranged adjacent to the edge brim part of the work table, and a sewing needle 41 on a side of the work table performs needle dropping to a side end part 43a of the cloth presser on the side of the worktable, and tip ends of the plurality of clamp members are positioned at an edge of the edge brim part of the work table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
