The present invention relates to a streetlamp for a crosswalk, and provides the streetlamp for the crosswalk for catching the attention of a vehicle driver at the crosswalk as well as preventing the vehicle from entering the crosswalk, by mounting on the streetlamp an LED lamp which can brightly illuminate an area that is larger than the area of the crosswalk, and by mounting a blocking plate which horizontally protrudes in the direction of the cross walk, thereby enabling a pedestrian to safely cross the crosswalk, enhancing pedestrian safety, and enabling smooth crosswalk passage without disturbing the flow of traffic by linking the operation of the blocking plate to a traffic light or operating the blocking plate by means of a separate operation button. |
