<p>The dishwasher (1) has a machine pedestal and a flushing container providing a flushing space. The flushing container has a flushing space access opening closable by pivoting door (4) and a door spring (7). The door spring is arranged at one end at the door by intermediate arrangement of a Bowden cable (6) and at other end on the machine pedestal. A break sensor is provided for the door spring. The break sensor has a bolt which serves as abutment pier for the door spring. The break sensor has a contact maker with a contact lower area which is formed of plastic part.</p>
