<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a Co-based alloy for a living body, by which a Co-based alloy can be forged into a shape near a finished shape. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a Co-based alloy for a living body, in which the alloy contains 26 to 30% of Cr, 5 to 8% of Mo, 0.20% or less of C and 0.05 to 0.25% of N, comprises: a first step of heating the alloy at 950 to 1,250°C, and then forging it at 850 to 1,050°C while applying a process strain of 30% or more, and also cooling it within 5 seconds after forging is finished, down to 300°C or lower at a cooling speed of 30 °C/s or more; and a second step of heating the alloy at 850 to 1,050°C for 5 to 60 minutes, and then forging it at 850 to 1,000°C while applying a process strain of 15% or less, and also cooling it within 20 seconds after forging is finished, down to 300°C or lower at a cooling speed of 30 °C/s or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
