<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in capability of a backup power supply. <P>SOLUTION: A charging system has: a charger which converts AC power supplied by a power supply into DC power, and outputs current; a storage battery storing the current output from the charger; and a bypass circuit which is connected in parallel to the storage battery, and bypasses the current from the charger to the storage battery. The charging system also has a control circuit which measures voltage of the storage battery, and transmits a control signal for controlling the current from the charger to the storage battery depending on the measured voltage value, to the charger. The control circuit measures the current from the charger to the storage battery, transmits a control signal for performing bypass control depending on the measured current value, to the bypass circuit, and transmits a control signal for controlling the current from the charger to the storage battery, to the charger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
