<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information board system that can adjust the brightness of a display part according to traffic of traveling vehicles and thereby reduces the power consumption to lower the operation cost of the traffic information board. <P>SOLUTION: A traffic information board 2 includes a display part 8 which displays predetermined traffic information, and a control part 7 which determines efficiency of information transmission to a vehicle 1 nearby the traffic information board 2 on the basis of presence/absence information on the vehicle 1 sent from a vehicle sensor 11, and adjusts the brightness of the display part 8 of the traffic information board 2 on the basis of the efficiency of information transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
