<p>The present invention relates to a method and processor for suppressing a network storm. The method includes: a processor acquiring a message to be forwarded by a PTN network; parsing the message to obtain the message features thereof; and forwarding or discarding the message according to the message features and based on an access control list including a preset match forwarding policy. In the present invention, a match forwarding policy of the corresponding message features is set in an access control list, the ARP request message, MPLS forwarding message, non-MPLS forwarding broadcast message, layer 2 unknown multicast message and layer 2 unknown unicast message in the broadcast message to be forwarded by the PTN network are distinguished for corresponding forwarding or discarding processing, which not only effectively suppresses the PTN network storm but also avoids discarding the broadcast message supported by the PTN, improving the service performance of the PTN network.</p> |
