DEVICE, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR PROVIDING DIGEST VIDEO INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digest video information providing device which edits digital video content data and generates and provides digest video information in accordance with a scene section in which a user strongly shows an interest and to provide a digest video information providing method and a digest video information providing program.

SOLUTION: The digest video information providing device includes: an attention degree calculating section 423 for obtaining an operation situation of a viewing user A and calculating an attention degree at every scene section of video content information by the user A when the video content information is displayed in a user A terminal 10; an estimated viewing possible time information DB 418 storing estimated viewing possible time information of a user B; and a digest video information generation section 426 which preferentially extracts information on the scene section whose attention degree calculated by the attention degree calculating section 423 is higher than a previously set threshold and generates the digest video information on the video content information.
