<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil spring which stably receives a load in a close contact state, in which a close-contact length is shortened by reducing a flatness ratio and in which lateral displacement is suppressed by improving uniformity of stress distribution by continuity of stress dispersion in the circumferential direction of a cross sectional shape. <P>SOLUTION: In the coil spring, for the cross sectional outer peripheral shape of a spring wire 3 wound in a coil shape, a coil outer diameter part 9 and a coil inner diameter part 7 are formed into a super elliptical shape with a major axis (a) and a minor axis (b) expressed by (x/a)α+(y/b)α, the value of α being 2 to 3. A projecting/recessed abutting part 11 is provided on one side of the spring wire 3 in a coil axial line 5 direction, and on the other side, a projecting-arc abutting part 13 is provided, the projecting/recessed abutting part 11 is provided with a recessed part 15 having an arc-shape cross section and a pair of recessed parts 17, 19 having an arc-shape cross section continued to both ends of the recessed part 15 and the coil inner/outer diameter parts 7, 9 respectively, and the projecting abutting part 13 of the coil part adjacent to the pair of convex parts 17, 19 in the coil axial line 5 direction abuts on the pair of projecting parts 17, 19, so that the coil comes in a close contact state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
