Vacuum pump with pump rotor bearings on a single side

The pump i.e. screw pump (1), has a motor stator (12) with windings surrounding two magnetized cylinders (11, 11') and producing magnetic fields such that the cylinders and rotor shafts (6, 6') rotate synchronously along opposite directions. A bearing (13) i.e. fixed bearing, of the shafts is provided on a drive part (3). The bearing is not provided on a side of a suction chamber (7'') remote from the drive part. A pressure side of a screw pump assembly (2) rests on the side of the chamber turned toward the drive part. The bearing and the drive part stay under atmospheric pressure.
