PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a light emitting device package are provided to be electrically connected to the light emitting device by including a first metal layer and a second metal layer arranged on a package body. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure(140) is arranged on a second electrode layer(105). The light emitting structure includes a first conductive semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second conductive semiconductor layer. An upper electrode is arranged on the light emitting structure. A side electrode is arranged on the side of the light emitting structure. A first electrode(160) includes an upper capacitor electrode connected to one end of the side electrode. |
