SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING DAMAGE FOR AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER AND THEREOF METHOD

PURPOSE: A system for preventing fire damage to an air circuit breaker and a control method thereof are provided to prevent fire damage to the air circuit breaker by compulsively intercepting a power source after predetermined time while a remote control switch is failed. CONSTITUTION: A mode selection part selects from a manual control mode and a remote control mode. A manual control part(100) applies power to an air circuit breaker through manual control in the manual control mode. A remote control part(200) applies the power to the air circuit breaker through remote control in the remote control mode. A fire damage prevention part(400) intercepts the power in predetermined time after the power source is applied to the air circuit breaker. A relay part(500) is excited when the power is applied to the air circuit breaker. The relay part is turned off in a state that the power to the air circuit breaker is intercepted. An operating device outputs a remote control signal which remotely controls the remote control part and the fire damage prevention part.
