PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical discharging device which is capable of guiding light from a light source to a surface of a photoreceptor drum without a lack and without using light guiding members. SOLUTION: The optical discharging device for discharging the surface of the photoreceptor drum on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, by irradiation with light includes: a LED 21a which is disposed sideways in a rotating shaft direction of the photoreceptor drum and emits light in the rotating shaft direction of the photoreceptor drum; and a reflecting member 21b which is disposed in the rotating shaft direction of the photoreceptor drum and reflects light from the LED 21a by a reflecting surface 21b-1 facing the photoreceptor drum to guide the light to the surface of the photoreceptor drum.
