PURPOSE: An automatic international and local telephone dialing providing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to make an international call by using a telephone number. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(740) includes a touch screen which supplies a dial pad. The dial pad receives a call from a user in order to originate a call. A communication unit receives national identification information from a network where a mobile communication terminal is located. A control unit(710) dials a telephone number by using a mapping table. The telephone number includes a national number corresponding to the received nation identification information.
