PURPOSE: A steel cord with improved rubber penetration is provided to minimize air gap between filaments and to prevent penetration of salts or moisture and tire durability reduction. CONSTITUTION: A steel cord with improved rubber penetration sequentially comprises an inner layer(10), a middle layer(20), an outer layer(30), and a spiral wrap(40) from the center to the outside. The inner layer comprises three filaments(11) and is twisted in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The middle layer comprises 8 filaments(21) and is twisted in same direction with the inner layer. |
