PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system for notifying a computer device which has failed in connection of the status information of an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 200 connected to a first network 400 includes notification failure log notification means for transmitting a communication failure log in the case of making a response to connection from a computer device 300 connected to a second network 500. The communication failure log includes status information scheduled to be transmitted to the computer device 300 which has failed in connection by the image forming apparatus 200 which has failed in connection or position designation data in which the status information is stored, and the computer device 300 includes: communication failure log reception means; and status information notification means for transmitting the status information or position designation data included in the received communication failure log to the other computer device 300.
