<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body tissue denaturation device which can more accurately evaluate the degree of heat denaturation. <P>SOLUTION: The body tissue denaturation device comprises tissue denaturation unit (20, 21, 22, 23, 24) that apply energy to a treatment site that is a body tissue to denature the body tissue in the treatment site; an infrared light generator (30) that generates near-infrared light with wavelengths in a range of 800 to 2,500 nm; an irradiator (30) that applies infrared light to a treatment site (61) with a first light guide unit (31); a light detector (40) that, after the infrared light passed through the treatment site (61) is guided by a second light guide unit (41), receives the guided infrared light, differentiates a plurality of wavelengths about the infrared light guided by the second light guide unit (41), and detects each wavelength of the infrared light; and a signal generator (70) into which the signals of the received infrared light with the plurality of the wavelengths detected by the light detector (40) are input and which generates signals representing the degree of denaturation of a body tissue 60 in the treatment site (61). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
