<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can be set to an optimum fixation temperature for every one each of recording media without requiring a huge amount of information during continuous printing and without selecting a specific mode. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an image forming apparatus provided with a fixing device 20 for fixing an unfixed images on a recording medium to the recording media. The image forming apparatus is equipped with a target fixing temperature changing means for changing a target fixing temperature during fixing processing and a gray scale processing means for subjecting image information to gray scale processing. The image forming apparatus is configured to change the target fixing temperature based on the type and the gray scale value of gray scale processing used for the image on the recording medium for every one each of the recording media subjected to fixing processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
