<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device which can surely perform accounting processing when charging is terminated. <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle ID preregistered with an external storage device 13 and a vehicle ID acquired by a reader/writer 34 match each other, a control unit 101 controls a lock control unit 101d so that locks 40c of an outlet 40 are interlocked with holes 55c in protrusion parts 55b of a plug 55 so as to lock a connection between the outlet 40 and the plug 55. In this state, the control unit 101 charges a battery 52 of an electric vehicle 12 with a charger 11 by turning on a selector switch 37. When the charging is completed, the control unit 101 controls an accounting unit 101c to calculate electric energy and causes an accounting server 14 to execute accounting processing of a corresponding amount of money. When the accounting processing is completed, the control unit 101 controls the lock control unit 101d to release the locks 40c.
