<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in adhesive strength between a barrier layer and a sealant layer caused by the content in a paper container for liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The paper container for liquid is formed using a base material for a liquid paper container composed of a thermoplastic resin layer 2 laminated on at least one face of a paper base material 1, and at least the barrier layer 3, an adhesive layer 4, and the sealant layer 5 sequentially layered on the other face of the paper base material.
