摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce torque in a low-speed rotation region so that surface roughness of one of a collar surface of an inner race or outer race and the end surface of a roller does not adversely affect the other to cause peeling etc. <P>SOLUTION: Shot blast treatment or shot peening treatment is applied to collar surfaces 6a and 6b of collars 5a and 5b of an inner race 2 with is brought into slide contact with end surfaces 3a and 3b of a roller 3, to set the surface roughness (Ra, ring) of the collar surface to a range of 0.05 to 0.30 &mu;m. The degree of sharpness (Rku, ring) indicating a degree of vertical sharpness for the center line of the distribution curve of the surface roughness of the collar surface is set to a range of 3 to 7. The surface roughness of the collar surface (Ra, ring) and the surface roughness of the end surface of the roller that slidably comes into contact with the collar surface (Ra, roller) satisfy the following relationship: 0.1&le;Ra, ring/Ra, roller&le;1.0. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
