<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition for thin wall containers for containing foods such as soft drinks, milk-based drinks, pudding and jelly, which is excellent in high-speed moldability and achieves a higher cycle of molding, the thin wall containers being excellent in rigidity, impact resistance, stackability, slipperiness, low odor, food safety and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition for thin wall containers comprises 96-60 wt.% of polyethylene (I) and 4-40 wt.% of an ethylenic polymer (II) and satisfies given properties (i) to (iii). The ethylenic polymer (II) is polymerized using a metallocene catalyst containing Ti, Zr or Hf, has a melt flow rate (MFR) of 0.01-10 g/10 min at a temperature of 190°C and a load of 2.16 kg and a density of 0.921-0.960 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>, and satisfies the relationship of given expression (1) between a melt flow rate (HLMFR) at a temperature of 190°C and a load of 21.6 kg and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) measured by GPC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
