<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a crankshaft, by means of which variation in rotational balance of the crankshaft caused by trimming can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: Force F1 which is generated upon rotation of a crankshaft 1 and is caused by the movement of balance of counterweights 3C/W-6C/W in a division B1, the movement being generated by a first deburring step, is canceled by force F2 which is generated upon rotation of the crankshaft 1 and is caused by the movement of balance of the counterweights 1C/W, 2C/W in a division B2 and the counterweights 7C/W, 8C/W in a division B3, the movement being generated by a second deburring step.
