<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte battery manufactured using a novel positive electrode active material functioning in an amorphous state, and a novel positive electrode active material functioning in an amorphous state. <P>SOLUTION: A solid electrolyte battery includes: a positive electrode side layer having a positive electrode active material layer; a negative electrode side layer; and a solid electrolyte layer formed between the positive electrode side layer and the negative electrode side layer.
