<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reach forklift that can strike a balance between the securing of a floor space of a driver seat and the lowering of a floor surface. <P>SOLUTION: The reach forklift includes an upper arm 51 which supports a drive unit 30 having a driving wheel 31 in such a manner that a relative movement thereof is carried out in a vertical direction to a vehicle body 10, a caster arm 42 which supports a caster unit 40 having an auxiliary wheel 41 in such a manner that the relative movement thereof is carried out in the vertical direction to the vehicle body 10, and a lower arm 52 where the relative movement thereof in the vertical direction is reciprocally transmitted so that the relative movement in the vertical direction between the drive unit 30 and caster unit 40 takes place in the reverse direction. In this reach forklift, interference of the reach cylinder 24 with the lower arm 52 can be evaded by mounting to the lower arm 52 a recess 52D into which an upper end of the reach cylinder 24 is entered and furthermore the height of a space required when a link mechanism 50 and the reach cylinder 24 are disposed can be lowered along a horizontal direction of the vehicle body 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
