<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of efficiently preventing shimmy with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A double opening/closing valve 10 is disposed in the middle of two cylinder pipes 2C1 and 2C2 communicating a power assist valve 8 with a power cylinder 2P. The double opening/closing valve 10 is attached over the first cylinder pipe 2C1 and the second cylinder pipe 2C2 and simply structured to simultaneously open/close both cylinder pipes 2C1 and 2C2. During high-speed traveling in a state where control oil pressure is not generated in the neutral state of a handle 3, the first and second cylinder pipes 2C1 and 2C2 are blocked by the double opening/closing valve 10, and hydraulic oil is enclosed in the first and second oil chambers 2P2 and 2P3 of the power cylinder 2P to set a rack 21 in a locked state. Thus, road surface vibration input to a steering wheel 6 is prevented from being transmitted to the handle 3 to be shimmy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
