<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent mechanical durability and causing no film peeling even in repeated use in a long period of time, and thereby preventing leakage or the like, and to provide an image forming apparatus including the photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: In the process of forming an electrophotographic photoreceptor by using a coating liquid for a charge generating layer and then a coating liquid for a charge transporting layer on a conductive support, after the coating liquid for the charge generating layer is applied, the layer is dried at normal temperature. After the coating liquid for the charge transporting layer is applied, the layer is subjected to (i) heat treatment at a temperature equal to or higher than the boiling point (A) of the solvent used and equal to or lower than the glass transition temperature (B) of the charge transporting layer, and then (ii) reheating treatment at a temperature equal to or higher than the glass transition temperature (B) and higher by 50 to 70°C than the boiling point (A). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
