<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag for a sandbag, which is made of a synthetic resin with high water permeability and high weather resistance; and a sandbag. <P>SOLUTION: A sandbag of woven fiber cloth with a warp yarn of which cross section has a circular or elliptical shape and with a weft yarn of which cross section has a square shape. The woven cloth may have the weft yarn of which cross section has a major axis two times or more larger than the major axis of the cross section of the warp yarn.
