<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet mat capable of absorbing urine scattering or dropping from a urinal and the bowl onto the floor around the urinal and bowl, eliminating a nasty smell emitted from the decomposed urine, and making an antibacterial action against generated various bacteria, thereby improve a hygienic environment in the toilet. <P>SOLUTION: A mat body 1 is made by sewing together a front portion 2 impregnated with a deodorant and an antimicrobial and a back portion 3 processed to have an irregular structure. A urine absorbing sheet 4 is constructed by gluing together three layers formed of an upper layer made of a water-permeable unwoven fabric impregnated with a deodorant and an antimicrobial, a middle layer made of an unwoven fabric that is a mixture of a deodorizing polymer, antimicrobial polymer, a high-molecular water-absorbing resin, and a deodorant different in major component from the deodorant of the upper layer, and a lower layer made of an unwoven fabric processed to have a hardness that facilitates replacement work. The urine absorbing sheet 4 is inserted to get drops of urine fell on the mat body 1 absorbed and spread quickly through the same to reach the urine absorbing sheet inside the body, where the urine is gelled to lose its odor and is subjected to an antibacterial treatment to prevent the proliferation of various bacteria. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
