<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of protecting LEDs and attaining miniaturization and thinning of a lighting fixture by preventing enlargement of the device where the LEDs are mounted, as well as the lighting fixture using the lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of LED light sources 40 and protection elements 50 for protecting the LED light sources 40 are mounted on LED boards 31 in the lighting device. The plurality of LED light sources 40 are divided into a plurality of groups 41, and the protection elements 50 are arranged in the respective groups 41. The LED light source 40 can be protected by reducing a wiring space between the protection element 50 and the LED light source 40 since each protection element 50 is electrically connected with each LED light source 40 of each group 41. Thus, the LED light source 40 can be protected, and enlargement of each lighting device 30 wherein the LED light sources 40 are mounted and the lighting fixture 10 can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
