<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method for fluid pipe, capable of cutting the fluid pipe without giving any load to a cutter member due to deformation stress caused in the fluid pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting method for fluid pipe 1 is intended for cutting a fluid pipe 1 by advancing a cylindrically formed cutter member 4 in the radial direction of the fluid pipe 1. The method includes a step of fixing a reinforcement member 10 onto the fluid pipe 1 to be cut by the cutter member 4 while avoiding the cutting position to be cut by the cutter member 4, and a step of cutting the fluid pipe 1 by the cutter member 4. The load applied to the location of the fluid pipe 1 to be cut by the cutter member 4 and deformation stress accompanying the cutting are supported by portions other than a portion where the fluid pipe 1 is cut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
