PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the amount of data when image data including a distinctive feature is saved.
SOLUTION: A print job is analyzed, and CMYK-version data D1 and a plurality of feature-version data D2 are generated. A feature table is referred to so as to calculate each of a plurality of features and a CMYK value corresponding to a combination of features, a composite feature substitution table T2 is generated in which IDs indicative of the respective features and combinations of the features, and calculated CMYK values are made to correspond to each other, and composite feature-version data D3 which represents respective pixels with IDs corresponding to the pixels is generated based upon a plurality of feature-version data D2. In re-printing, CMYK values corresponding to IDs are acquired by reference to the composite feature substitution table T2 by pixels constituting the composite feature-version data D3, and feature CMYK-version data D4 is generated based upon the acquired CMYK values. Then the generated feature CMYK-version data D4 and CMYK-version data D1 are put together.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
