<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain discharging device capable of preventing breakage of a drain discharge pump due to drain freezing, and suiting energy saving and running cost saving. <P>SOLUTION: A drain tank 1 stores drain or condensate generated in a water heater 20, and a level electrode 2 detects a water level of the drain in the drain tank 1. A discharge pipe 3 is for discharging the drain from the drain tank 1, and it is connected to the drain tank 1. A drain discharge pump 4 is connected to the middle of the discharge pipe 3. A drain discharge device 10 is controlled to stop driving of the drain discharge pump after the level electrode 2 detects that the level of the drain is at a minimum level from discharge of the drain in the drain tank 1, continuing driving of the drain discharge pump 4 a predetermined time, and air intrudes into the drain discharge pump 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
