<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media file management device which can easily extract specific media data of a specific time position. <P>SOLUTION: A media file management device comprises: a storage unit for storing pieces of media data including media data composing contents with a time series and pieces of index data which are associated with respective pieces of media data and indicate association of time positions in contents and data positions in the pieces of media data; and data reading out unit which, when a time position in the contents is specified, acquires a data position associated with the specified time position from the pieces of index data and extracts specified media data of the acquired data position from the pieces of media data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
