<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic heat pump apparatus which can excellently perform heat exchange between a magnetic working element and a heat medium and can make large the increase/decrease of the heat quantity of the magnetic working element when a magnetic field is applied thereto and removed therefrom. <P>SOLUTION: In the work chamber 311 of a container, a plurality of magnetic working elements rows 30A where the plurality of magnetic working elements 30 formed in a columnar shape extending in the direction of a magnetic field having an axis applied (in the direction of the front and rear sides of paper in the figure) are integrated are arranged side by side.
