<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase energy efficiency by decreasing a residue, with simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for biologically treating organic waste carries out biological treatment of herb biomass 100 under an anaerobic condition and includes: a high temperature digestion tank 10 which carries out biological treatment of the herb biomass 100 under an anaerobic condition by using anaerobic microorganisms; a solid-liquid separation part 11 which carries out solid-liquid separation of at least a part of contents in the high temperature digestion tank 10; a pulverizing part 13 which mechanically pulverizes solid contents separated by the solid-liquid separation part 11, to size of an effective reach distance of an extracellular enzyme secreted by the anaerobic microorganism or below; and an intermediate temperature digestion tank 20 which carries out biological treatment of solid contents subjected to solid-liquid separation under the anaerobic condition by using anaerobic microorganisms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
