Provided are a near-infrared silver sulfide quantum dot, a preparation method therefore and a biological application thereof. The silver sulfide quantum dot has a hydrophilic group from a mercapto-containing hydrophilic reagent attached on a surface thereof, and the hydrophilic reagent is any one or a combination of two of mercaptoacetic acid, mercaptopropionic acid, cysteine, cysteamine, octylsulfuric acid and ammonium mercaptoacetate. The silver sulfide quantum dot has the advantages of high yield of fluorescence, high stability of fluorescence, favorable biological compatibility and uniform size; and the preparation method has the advantages of mild reaction conditions, simple operation, short preparation period, good reproducibility, and being easy to control. The silver sulfide quantum dots are useful in cellular and biological tissue imaging application. |
