<p>A window regulator is configured in such a manner that a guide rail is provided with a rail body section, an insertion section which is provided at one end of the rail body section and which is inserted through a housing, and an engagement tongue which is provided to the rail body section. The housing has a housing section which houses the insertion section, an engagement section which engages with the front end of the engagement tongue, and a guide section which guides the front end of the engagement tongue to the engagement section when the guide section comes into contact with the front end of the engagement tongue. The window regulator is configured so that the engagement between the engagement tongue and the engagement section prevents the housing from moving in the direction in which the tension of a wire for ascent and the tension of a wire for descent are reduced.</p> |
