<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device which can reduce rotation resistance caused by the viscosity of oil at the release of a brake. <P>SOLUTION: The brake device comprises the wet multi-plate system brake and a pump for discharging the oil supplied to the brake. The brake has: an oil supply port 11a; a bypass oil supply port 11c; an oil discharge port 11b; a main passage which is formed so as to include an oil passage between friction plates between the oil supply port 11a and the oil discharge port 11b; and a bypass passage which is formed so as not to include the oil passage between the friction plates between the bypass oil supply port 11c and the oil discharge port 11b. The brake device comprises a pressure control valve which supplies the oil supplied to the brake to the bypass passage by making the oil bypass, and a heating means which heats the oil. When the pressure control valve is not operated, the oil is discharged after passing the main passage, and when the pressure control valve is operated, the oil is discharged after passing the bypass passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
