摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner for electrophotography, having a small particle diameter and narrow particle diameter distribution, which allows a charge control agent to exist on a toner surface, and to provide toner for electrophotography obtained by the method for manufacturing and having excellent image characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing toner for electrophotography comprises: a step (A) of obtaining, in an aqueous medium, core particles containing resin and having a volume median particle diameter (D50) of 1 to 10 &mu;m; a step (B) of adding and adhering composite fine particles containing polyester-containing resin and a charge control agent to the core particles obtained in the step (A), thereby obtaining composite fine particle-adhering core particles; and a step (C) of heating the composite fine particle-adhering core particles obtained in the step (B), thereby obtaining coalescence particles.
