PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing, in data communication between a control device and a base station device used in a mobile communication system, setting states of a data size of a fixed length or a variable length from becoming inconsistent between these devices.

SOLUTION: The mobile communication system includes a control device and a base station device. Data communication between the control device and the base station device is executed between data sizes of a fixed length and a variable length. The control device transmits information showing the data size of the fixed length or the variable length for data communication. The base station device receives the information from the control device.
