<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute cooling water flowing from a coding rotor introducing opening into a cooling water inlet of a spacer to the upper and lower parts of the spacer while suppressing pressure loss to the minimum. <P>SOLUTION: The water introducing opening 11c for introducing cooling water into a cooling water inlet passage 11b communicating to a water jacket 13 is formed while being biased downward in a cylinder block 11 and the cooling water inlet 15 facing the cooling water inlet passage 11b is formed in the spacer 14, thereby the pressure loss of cooling water of the in the cooling water inlet passage 11b can be suppressed to the minimum. A deflecting part 11e comprising a slope for deflecting upward cooling water flowing in from the cooling water introducing opening 11c is formed in the cooling water inlet passage 11b, an extension line L3 of the deflecting part 11e is detected to the upper edge 15a of the cooling water inlet 15, thereby a part of the cooling water deflected upward by the deflecting part 11e collides with the upper edge 15a and is deflected downward, consequently the cooling water in the cooling water inlet passage 11b can be distributed to the upper and lower sides of the water jacket 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
