Provided are a hollow fiber filter and a method for producing a hollow fiber filter whereby the pressure-resistant strength of the sealing between an end part of a casing body and an end part of a lid member has been enhanced. A hollow fiber filter (100) comprises: a hollow fiber bundle (30); a casing body (20) where the hollow fiber bundle (30) has been fixed to at least one end opening of a casing body cylinder (22) by a first sealing part (24) made of a first sealing agent, such that the hollow fiber bundle (30) has a cut open-end surface; a lid member (10) provided with an inlet/outlet (12) for a fluid, the lid member being mounted onto both end parts of the casing body (20); and a second sealing part (40) comprising a packed part in which a space formed between an outer peripheral region of the cut open-end surface of the hollow fiber bundle (30) and a connection region connecting the end part of the casing body (20) and the end part of the lid member (10) has been packed with a second sealing agent, and a continuous film which extends from the packed part to at least a part of an inner surface of the lid member and has been adhered to the inner surface of the lid member.
