<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device that discriminates between an operator and a background which becomes noise and does not malfunction even if a person other than the operator is present within a photographic range of a camera and moves a hand. <P>SOLUTION: A right eye imaging device A and a left eye imaging device B are disposed side by side, and a distance to a subject of which images have been taken by the imaging devices A and B is measured by a binocular parallax method by distance measurement means C. Subject discrimination means D compares the measured distance with a previously set depth distance that is identified by the binocular parallax method based on an interval between the imaging devices A and B, and when the distance to the subject and the depth distance coincide with each other within a predetermined acceptable range, operation instruction generating means E detects movement of the subject and generates an operation instruction depending on the result of the detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
