<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zeolite composite membrane usable in a carbon dioxide selective permeation separation membrane capable of exerting outstanding gas separation characteristics even under the presence of water vapor, in a zeolite composite membrane for recovering carbon dioxide from a mixed gas containing carbon dioxide (CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>). <P>SOLUTION: In this zeolite composite membrane, a faujasite (FAU)-type zeolite membrane having a zeolite skeleton of a composition as described below is provided on a porous substrate, Al<SB POS="POST">n</SB>Si<SB POS="POST">192-n</SB>O<SB POS="POST">384</SB>(in formula, 48≤n≤86). A water repellent coating layer is provided on a surface of the FAU-type zeolite membrane. Preferably, the water repellent coating layer comprises a water repellent zeolite membrane having a composition ratio of silica (Si)/aluminum (Al)≥100, and the surface of the water repellent coating layer of the zeolite composite membrane is preferably silylated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
